Apply For a Grant To The Thomas Harley Charity

The trustees meet twice a year, towards the end of April and again towards the end of September to consider grant applications. 

Applications should be sent by post or e-mail to the Charity Administrators – Charity Link, by the first of April or September:

There are two branches to the Harley Trust,  the Charitable Branch and the Education Branch

The Charitable Branch of the Harley Trust awards grants to eligible dependants of deceased clergy who live in the Leicester Diocese.

Apply To The Charitable Branch

If you are the dependent of a member of the Clergy and live in Leicestershire and have support needs you can apply to th Hareley Trust for a grant.

Apply To The Education Branch

If you are applying for a university course and have a family income of less than £35,000 and live in Leicestershire  you can apply to us from a bursary. If you are a school in North West Leicestershire you can also apply.

The Education Branch of the Harley Trust splits its grants approximately in the ratio two-thirds to young people and one-third to the thirty schools serving the preferred area of benefit.
